RiverStone Health, a leading provider of personal and public health-services, has selected eClinicalWorks’ unified electronic medical record/practice management (EMR/PM) solution to connect four Montana-based federally qualified health centers (FQHC) and streamline workflow between them. The implementation is supported through the Health Information Technology grant program from the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Merge Healthcare, a provider of medical imaging solutions, has unveiled its eFilm Software Exchange program, an online community, launched in an effort to promote the development of applications revolving around its eFilm diagnostic imaging workstation. Merge’s eCommerce Website would enable its online community members to develop and distribute applications related to eFilm. iSOFT Secures Ten-year Pharmacy Contract with Western Australian Department of Health

iSOFT, an IBA Health subsidiary has won a 10-year pharmacy contract worth A$14 million (US$ 9 million) from the Western Australian Department of Health (WA Health), one of iSOFT’s key Australian customers. As per the agreement, iSOFT will license its centrally managed pharmacy management solution and provide support to help streamline pharmacy services for 21 public hospitals operating across Western Australia. Fujifilm Corporation Enters China Medical IT Market

With an intent to plunge into the rapidly growing Chinese medical IT market, Fujifilm Corporation has acquired Tianjian Medi Tech Co., Ltd, a leading Chinese medical IT systems vendor. Through the strategic acquisition, Fujifilm plans to enter the country’s hospital information system (HIS), electronic medical records (EMR) and other medical IT system segments.
