ACS Renews IT Services Contract with Queen’s Health System

Texas-based Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. has announced an information technology (IT) service contract renewal with its long term client, the Queen’s Health System, based at Honolulu. South Jersey Healthcare Offers Sage Intergy EHR to Physicians through Grant Program

South Jersey Healthcare (SJH) has recently signed an agreement with Tampa, Florida-based Sage Software Healthcare Inc., to deploy Sage Intergy EHR suite for its community-based physicians. The implementation will be through SJH’s electronic health records (EHR) grant program, eHealth Connection, under the Stark regulation relaxation. The system will be made available through an application service provider (ASP) model, through which SJH would host the centralized systems, or through a client-server model where the system would be implemented onsite at the physician offices. Medicity, a Utah-based provider of healthcare information technology (HIT) solutions for clinical data exchange, has merged with Alpharetta, GA-based Novo Innovations Inc., a vendor specializing in healthcare data exchange and EMR interoperability capabilities. The merged entity, which will do business as ‘Medicity’, will continue to function from its Salt Lake City headquarters, with offices stationed across US, including Novo’s Alpharetta-based facility.
