Perot Systems Enters the Indian Provider Market

Marking its entrance in the Indian healthcare provider market segment, Perot Systems Corporation has signed a Rs.90 crores (US$18.76 million) agreement with Max Healthcare (MHC), a leading private healthcare organization based in India. Under the terms of the 10-year contract, Perot will offer IT outsourcing (ITO) services and deploy electronic health records (EHR) for MHC, which has set forth for an expansion strategy, with plans to set up four Greenfield hospitals in the coming two years.
